Explore summer intern options for high school students in Newton
Do you have a high school student who is in working an internship this summer? Are you a local business provider who would be interested in mentoring a high school student? Summer internships are a great way for teens to build confidence and learn about career options. Join us for a panel discussion on finding or developing internships. Panelist will discuss their experiences with internships and how to explore options for student internships. Panelists will include the following.

Last summer, I was fortunate enough to have a wonderful student Intern, Suriya Ramachandrababu. Suriya was a natural business leader. Before I met him, I was worried about how I would fill the day. But Suriya dug in to every assignment with cheerful resolve.
The goal of the Mayor’s Summer Youth Internship Program is to serve as a stepping stone and learning experience for young adults in the community.
