Thomponsillve, Massachusetts, known for its concentration of commercial activity, is one of the 13 villages of Newton. While Thomsonville is “closely associated” with Chestnut Hill, residents in the area urged the City of Newton to form their own village. Thompsonville was officially formed in the mid 1800’s.

The shopping center is not located directly in Thompsonville, which gives the community a great place for shopping as well as the peace of not having a busy area right in town. Thompsonville does not have a village center so this is a great option residents.
